Our Staff

We offer a low student to teacher ratio which allows us to emphasize the importance of giving each child individual one on one work time.  Work time focuses mainly consists of manual skill building, shapes, colors, numbers, letters, phonics and pre-reading. Our purpose is for each child to be happy and to excite them when it comes to learning about life.

All About Miss Jenn!

I was born and raised in San Jose.  I have five brothers and one sister.  I am a mother of a 13 year old son and loving every day of it.  I have a dog named Fiona.  When I am not working in the classroom, I enjoy spending every minute with my son and family.  In 2012, I graduated from San Jose State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Childhood Adolescent Development, minor in Psychology.  Previously, I completed my Early Childhood Education curriculum at West Valley College.  Also, I currently have a Site Supervisor Permit.  In the future, I hope to pursue a teaching credential program, as well as a Master’s Degree, at SJSU.

My Goal(s) for this Year:

My goal is to encourage the children to learn through hands-on experiences and to have fun while learning.  I hope to educate them to have self-confidence, be kind to their friends, use their manners, communicate without physical contact and develop their individual self.  I plan on implementing lessons to include writing, reading, math, and art.

Why I Want to Work with Children:

I love working with kids, they bring you along with them on adventures whether it be in the backyard or reading a book. I am passionate about expanding students’ knowledge  and always striving to create a sense of community to connect with each student.
